Ballet First student Alice Murphy successfully aditioned for London Studio Centre and Raiffael Pugh (pictured) gained a place at Bird College for September 2005.

Ballet First Clothing Range Launched  |
|
In 2004 Ballet First launched its own clothing range, with the Ballet First logo emroidered on all garments, ranging from T-shirts, hooded sweatshirts, mono-strap bags and caps. These garments have proved hugely popular and Ballet First will be extending the range in 2005.

July 2004 saw senior students Rym Kechacha and Hayley Everett (pictured) perform in the Epping Forrest Art's production at the Harlow Playhouse as invited guests. Neo-Classical and Contemporary pieces were performed with choreography by Ballet First principal Theresa Crumb.

Exhibition Of Dances - May 2004  |

In May 2005 Ballet First students performed an Exhibition Of Dances including demanding variations from Tchaikovsky's Sleeping Beauty at St. John's ARC, Old Harlow for their annual performances. This event was completely sold out and students had the opportunity to work with guest choreographers in the realm of Contemporary Dance, Classical Ballet, Jazz and Tap. Students as young as 3 to 16 years of age collaborated to make thse performances and enormous success.

Cassandra's Illustrated Jane - February 2004  |

February 2004 saw Ballet First Intermediate and Senior students participate in Cassandra's Illustrated Jane - a performance of Dance and Narration inspred by the life of Jane austin and her letters. Students had the opportunity of working with other local dance schools on this project amd were exceedingly fortunate in being offered tuition from Mary Collins, teacher of Early Dances for the Royal Academy.

Rym Kechacha (pictured in the Sugar Plum Fairy variation from The Nutcracker), danced this variation in the Epping Forest Arts
production of Dash & Panache in the Harlow Playhouse main auditorium on 9th July 2003.
Rym is currently on the Senior-Associate course at the Central School of Ballet, London, and has been appearing with the Kirvov Ballet Company at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden during July 2003.

Rym Kechacha former pupil of Ballet First, graduated to Central School of Ballet before being accepted at the prestigious Northern Ballet Company.
Rym also was a guest dancer with the Kirov Ballet Company at Covent Garden in 2003. She is also currently writing a magazine weblog for Northern Ballet Theatre
